Do you have a Facebook fan business page? Most of you probably do... if you don't then this post isn't for you.
What are you doing with your Business page?
Most of us know by now that social media is all about engagement, that means talking to one another and getting to know each other. I wrote a few weeks ago, about Postlings, the way you can get an email when someone LIKES or comments on your business page.
Today I want to talk about analytics or what Facebook is calling Insights.

Insights is only visible to you or any administrator on your business page. Just like you track your analytics on your blogs or web-sites, Insights allows you to track your data on your Business page.
Here are a few graphs I captured to show you what Insights looks like.
I have two business pages on Facebook, Ann Arbor Real Estate Talk and A2BreakingNews.

When the fan pages, first started I remember we were all trying to run around and get our friends to LIKE it, because we wanted to be able to get those vanity URL's. After a while we all got nagged blasted to death by our friends. LOL
On my A2BreakingNews page, which was set up by Patrick Katano, I didn't invite anyone. I have just enjoyed seeing it slowly grow. And on my Ann Arbor Real Estate Talk page, except for the folks I invited at the beginning, I don't ask anyone.
I mean seriously why would someone in CA or any other state want to follow any news on Ann Arbor unless they graduated from the University of Michigan or lived here.
But, if you have a Business Page then by all means you should occassionally look at your Insights to see if it is growing and what people are interested in.

Who is reading your business page?
What age are they?
Where are they coming from?

One of the features I like the best and get the most out of when reviewing Insights is what impressions and interactions came from the different posts. I have set up the app networked blogs for my business page, so that my blog posts go straight into my business page. It just makes it simplier for me.
There are many more Insights to check out on your business page and learn from the data.
Are you using Insights?
What do you think?
Are you learning from the data?
