I wrote a post about a week ago on I had a big announcement coming.
Gee, lots of people tried to guess and encouraged me to hurry up but life happens, I am in the final 3 weeks of planning a wedding, and juggling short sales, which we have 11 pending. So I have not been able to blog on Activerain or Ann Arbor Real Estate Talk as consistently.
Welcome to my son Matthew Caulk as a licensed Realtor in Nashville.

I am so excited, even when Matt was a little boy he always loved looking at houses and I was sure he would be the one to follow me into Real Estate. Every year he was the child that wanted to go to the Parade of Homes with me.
So on top of getting all his classes finished, state exam taken, and joining the Nashville Association of Realtors, and Village Real Estate in Nashville I have been coaching him every night on blogging, social media, SEO.
Of course without a doubt I had Dakno design his MoveInNashville web-site, Photo Blog and Nashville Real Estate Blog. Today he signed up for his Activerain Rainmaker account.

When you have been in the business for a long time we learn a little here, a little there but when you start out new in today's market you have to hit the ground running with Social Media and technology.
You can connect with Matthew on Twitter.
Matthew also (all on his own) set up a News in Nashville on Facebook as a Business page.
He also did his first blog post on Benton Harbor Subdivison in Mt. Juliet and is on Page one, number one of Google for that hyper-local blog.
Matthew has his first listing in Murfreesboro at 2655 Tanima, which is going in the MLS on Monday as the sellers have been painting and putting in new carpet and I am sure he will blog on it once it is in the MLS.
One thing I really like about Village Real Estate in Nashville is the training, he had 2 weeks of Quick Start Training on writing contracts, doing CMA's, Listings and Marketing. He did a great job on his first CMA.
How can you help? Glad you asked....
I thought it would be fun to give him your best advice for being a brand new agent.
What is the ONE thing you would encourage Matthew to do to help him be successful in Real Estate?
Ok I will end now, hard to not be so excited about Matthews new career in real estate. Couldn't wait to share with all my Activerain friends.
