Everyone experiences hurt and disappointment, that is part of living. Therefore,it is not what happens to us that changes our destiny but how we respond to what happens to us that determines our destiny. To grow we must be able to move on from our hurts and disappointments.
When we experience hurts, the tendancy is to give up, withdraw, quit being vulnerable and shut ourselves off from others. We quit trusting.
In other words,"we keep breathing but stop living."

They all experienced tremendous set backs and hurts.The key is not to shut yourself off, hide in your cave, but to acknowledge your hurt, anger or disappointment and then move on.
- If you have never failed, you have never lived.
- If you have never been hurt, you have never lived.
- If you have never been disappointed, you have never lived.
My pain is not your pain, and your pain is not my pain. But, ALL of us have hurtful things happen to us along our life's journey. The difference is in how we respond to it.
