The Saline Fiddlers will be conducting their fall Hometown Concert on October 30, 2010 at the Ellen Ewying Performing Arts Center at Saline High School.
Mountain Heart from Nashville will be the guest performers.
Mountain Heart has won or been nominated for multiple Grammys, ACM, CMA, and IBMA Awards. They have appeared on the revered stage of the Grand Ole Opry in excess of 100 times and have shared the stage with acts ranging from Lynyrd Skynyrd, Montgomery Gentry, George Jones, Merle Haggard, and Brad Paisley to Alison Krauss, Tony Rice, Travis Tritt, Yonder Mountain Stringband, LeAnn Rimes, and Patty Loveless.
The Saline Fiddlers are made up of Saline High School students and have performed 1000's of time throughout the country, including 3 times at the White House. In 2009 the Saline Fiddlers traveled to Germany where they performed at Salines Sister City Lindernberg Im Allgau. They maintain a yearly schedule of 80 concerts per year.
Full of energy they have become an example for high schoolers across the country.
So without a doubt the Hometown Concert on the 30th will packed out. Tickets can be ordered here.
Ticket prices are from 15.00 to 25.00 and there is not a bad seat in the Performing Art Center. The Concert begins at 7:30.
What a great night this will be with the Saline Fiddlers from my hometown and Mountain Art from Nashville!
