I love Afternoon Delight in Ann Arbor, it is my very favorite place to go for breakfast. I have enjoyed eating there since moving to Ann Arbor, the food is always fresh and well......delightful.
Today when I walked in with a builder friend I had met to do a early inspection on a condo we decided to eat breakfast there afterwards. To my utter delight when I walked in on the chalk board that is always updated with the specials of the day was this photo. To join them on Facebook.

Afternoon Delight is owned by Tom Hackett and in the 27 years I have eaten there, Tom is always there.
Afternoon Delight is located at 251 East Liberty in downtown Ann Arbor on the corner of E. Liberty and 5th Street. There is always a waiting line to get in but it is part of the charm of eating at a icon in the Ann Arbor Downtown Area.
Ok, I know you want to know favorite thing to eat when I am there. It is there whole bran muffins with fruit. Today I had a peach one. Yummy !
Now to all my Activerain friends if you come and visit me we will have breakfast or lunch there and you can experience this delightful, healthy restaurant.
And in case your are wondering yes, it was named after the song by Starland Vocal Band and their hit song, "Afternoon Delight"
