Pittsfield Township is inviting all the residents to attend any of the upcoming Neighborhood Watch Program meetings. They are being held every Wednesday starting April 1st from 6:30 to 7:30 P.M. throughtout Pittsfield Township.
According to Rich Coleman, our Chief of Police, The Township will be providing:
- updates on crime trends in the neighborhoods,
- Internet Safety tips
- home security
- auto theft prevention tips
- emergency planning.
They will also be recruiting neighborhood watch block captains and updating contacts for EPublic Safety watch notifications.

Missy, I have heard great things about neighborhood watch programs. Our cul de sac is considering doing something similar just for the cul-de-sac.
