Interesting Monument - not sure if it is the camera placement or not - but the column on ther right appears to be rounded and the one on the left is very square.

UNRELATED NOTE:  Missy, not sure what happened - this blog took forever to load - at the bottom of the browser (IE7) I had to wait for 191 items to load...and they took their time, I almost rebooted.

This is a very nice tribute to Michigan.  I don't remember seeing it when I visited the monument.

Don, Each column surrounding the monument has a column with the states names engraved on it.

Great photo, Missy.  It took an awful long time to erect a monument to the men and women off WWII... Far too long in my opinion, but I'm glad to see it's there now.
