They really made homes to enjoy back then; I for one could sit on that porch and watch the world go by. Peaceful looking home.
Hi Missy,
Good luck with your open house tomorrow. I hope your open house brings lots of Christmas cheer.

Missy - Good luck with the open house. We don't seem to be getting a lot of traffic in most of ours right now. maybe us wimpy Tennesseans aren't used to cold weather.
Dear Missy,
I too love these old historic homes. I am sure those original hardwood floors still look fantastic after all these years!

Hi Missy,
This home looks so nostalgic... I was trying to figure out who I cold picture living there - unfortunately no one alive today - I have some aunts that would have been right at home - maybe a sequal to On Golden Pond... it is just so outr of character to what we have in So Cal - even our older homes are nothing like that.
And where are the neighbors for crying out loud?
My big question is...WHAT THE HECK ARE CALIFORNIA CLOSETS? If I had to guess before you answer, I'd have to say they are what we in California wold call a WALK-IN. Second guess is a closet with a double or triple slider - possibly mirrored... otherwise, we don't have closets in California...so please help me out.
Merry Christmas.
John

Hi Missy! Just sold one at an Open House and have never been a big proponent of them--at least not in the past 5 years or so! I hope you had the same results on Sunday!
Enjoy your week...
Missy, Good luck with the listing Happy Holidays.
Missy This property looks like one you could find in my area, and of course I love the view. Open houses kind of taper off in the winter here how about in your area?
Here is hoping your open house will be well attended.
