ReBarCamp in Nashville is coming on April 28th. After following all the tweets on Twitter about ReTechSouth I was so wishing I had been able to go and yet so excited that ReBarCamp Nashville is only ONE month away.
Well there is not a person here who doesn't know I love Nashville, so as soon as I heard a tweet on it back in January I signed up.
If you don't know what a ReBarCamp is...it is a casual, fun,FREE, less structured event, where you interact with other people face to face that have been hidden behind your computer. It is a gathering of some of the best minds in the real estate world where everyone shows up and participates.
One of the most exciting things I have found from attending several ReBar Camps is that people show up, sign in, and volunteer to lead a group on whatever and the topics you want to know more about you show up and participate. If you end up in a session that you find out isn't really meeting your needs, it is cool to get up and move. ReBarCamps are all about the synergy of the folks attending.
ReBarCamp Nashville is being held at 5th & Main across from the Titan's Stadium, which has awesome views of downtown Nashville and the skyline.
The event starts at 8:30 AM on April 28th but the night before is Beer with Bloggers. Beer with Bloggers is being held at the Blackstone Brewery on West End Avenue.
If you are coming to Nashville for the first time, there is so many things to do. One of the mover and shakers to ReBarCamp Nashville is Brian Copeland, @NashvilleBrian. Brian has composed a list of the Top 10 Nashville To Do List while in town.
- You can connect with Nashville ReBarCamp on Facebook.
- The Twitter hashtag is #rebcnash.
As Todd Carpenter one of the original founders of ReBarCamps says, "It’s not going to cost you a dime to come to RE Bar Camp, but it definitely isn’t free. Everyone who attends may be called upon to share their experience. In addition, many of the attendees are taking a larger roll in putting this event together.
***The day after ReBarCamp Nash is a WordPress Camp, April 29th. I am also excited about this as I have wanted to go to a Word Camp too.***
If you are in the Nashville area, you all really should come and participate you can register here.
I think a little birdie told me the Dakno boys are going to be there....and I love to pick their brains. Last time I was with them at ReBar Chicago, I started my Ann Arbor Real Estate Photo blog.

I went to the one in San Francisco and had a great time. I am considering it even though it will be a long drive. Well worth the experience!!
Great Eric, I can't wait, hope to meet you.
Missy - I don't know, that 20 minute drive will be so tough. I'll bring all my blogging friends with me.
I might just see you there Missy!

Missy, How funny I'm trying to get our daughter back to Houston from NYC stand by and on Monday morning there's a Nashville flight that looks good. She would go Newark, Nashville and then Houston (you do what you have to do). Long story short I now know what the flights are to Nashville. I will have to see if I can work out coming.
Missy...we missed you at RETech...but I get to see you in Nashville! Totally Awesome! And this time, the mystery Man, Ray is attending! I'm also doing the Word Press Camp the following day, altho I learned from Brian that it's for intermediate and advanced users. Perfect timing for me to get up to speed as we will launch a new Tomato Blog in the weeks ahead!
See ya in Nashville!
I'm in negotiations with House Ways & Means to see if there is a way to get this through the House Finance Committee... I'd like to be able to make it.
There for a second, when I saw the pix of the stadium, I was thinking. "This must hve been the biggest ReBar camp ever".
Missy, I plan to attend. Will you be there?
Missy, Thanks for posting this. I live just outside of Nashville and had no idea. I just registered and am really looking forward to it.
Michael, yes I am coming, can you help get the word out.
Missy I have not made it to one of these events yet but from attending virtual REBar I know this would be the thing to do.
I missed the event tonight.. I will be there tomorrow.. Looking forward to meeting people in person
