The first ReBar Camp in Grand Rapids, Michigan is May 26th, that is this Wednesday.
Are you coming?
Have you ever attended a ReBar Camp? I have been to several over the last few years, including the first one in San Francisco in July of 07. That is where my beautiful daughter first met @ActiveBrad, our awesome Community Builder on Activerain.
The ReBar Camp in Grand Rapids is sponsored by GRAR and wil begin at 8:30 and end at 5:00.
What is a ReBar Camp?
A daylong exchange of ever-rotating ideas and discussion centered around how RE professionals can bring their business up to speed with today’s online consumer market using the latest in technology and social media advancements. Learn from leading professionals at companies like Google, Zillow and Trulia. Lead a session yourself. Whatever you do, make sure you’re not sitting still and zoning out.
It’s the conference that’s more CONVERSATION than conference!
I am excited to be a Discussion Leader and get to meet IRL (in real life) fellow Michigan bloggers and experts in Social Media.
The sessions are NOT presentations, they are CONVERSATIONS. The experts in the room will often give a 15-20 minute talk on a subject to get the conversation going, and then open the room to question and answer. If you have a question or a statement, ask it. If you have an answer, offer it There are NO attendees at REBarCamp, only participants.

Missy, I am sure this will be an awesome REBC! They are one of my favorite things to attend! Unfortunately, this one didn't make it onto the calnendar :(
How much does it cost?
All ReBar Camps are FREE. Sponsors pay for the event.
Missy, I'm sure that the Grand Rapids REBarCamp will be great! I've got two upcoming around here that I plan to attend -- Philadelphia, and then Richmond.
By the way, the first one in San Francisco was in the summer of 2008! I does seem like it was longer since then, but, yes, it's only been just under 2 years.
Bring one out here....and I'm in. I love stuff like this, was finally able to go to a Rain Camp in LA and it was amazing.
I can't wait for a rebar to come to the nations capital!
Missy,
I will be attending my first RE Bar Camp in June when it will be coming to our area.
Missy, we're doing a RainCamp here in June and I can't wait. Seeing all of the bloggers is the most fun part of it.
Missy, we're so excited to have you & Maureen attending along w/ many other great local folks. I attended my first ReBar Camp in Chicago @ the NAR Headquarters. It's something you just have to experience ~ it's hard to adequately describe the experience. Are you driving in the day of...or coming in early?
Can't wait, Maureen and I are driving in tomorrow. Meeting at Brighton.
I am getting a room, glad I saw this, paying bills and need to go to Priceline.
This is my 4th ReBar, they are a blast, see you Wednesday.
Hey Missy! Did you mean to say that Christa met ActiveBRAD?!!
The BEST part of these things is meeting the friends who you have made here in the Rain! All that you learn--well, that's pretty awesome too but, I just love seeing my friends from here face-to-face.
Missy, You did a great job, thanks for sharing your gifts with all of us in GR yesterday!
