University of Michigan Football Opening Day in the New Stadium

Saturday is opening day for the University of Michigan Football team. After a few bad years, our hopes are once again high and positive.

MGoBlueFootball blog-website just published a video about the Top 10 Moments in Michigan Stadium History.

Tomorrow we open in our newly renovated Big House. We are looking to start some new memories in the new stadium which I shared some photos of a couple of weeks ago when we toured the Big House in a RPAC fundraiser sponsored by the Ann Arbor Area Board of Realtors and the Governmental Affairs Committee.

Hi Missy -- thanks for posting the video. I noticed 4 of the great moments were against...Ohio State, and only 1 against MSU. Haven't seen a football game in years, never seen one at the big house.

But at West Point the Army fans and cannons did a fine job of rockin' the house. We even saw our team make a bowl one year went 9-2. Rare for West Point, but for UofM every year.

My second school of choice was UofM, but just too much $$$!

Coach Rich Rodriguez has found a QB that can get the job done . Sophomore Denard Robinson lead the Wolverines to a 30-10 victory over UConn. What a great season opener for Michigan sports fans.

Great video. I actually saw many of those highlights. It was good to hear Bob Ufers voice again on the call of some of the older plays. He was the ultimate homer in the broadcast booth. They don't make them like that anymore in our age of political correctness.
