Activerain launches new blogs. I'm sure you've heard... how exciting.
We all have more questions and I suspect that post will eventually be the longest post on record.
Gita asked a question there, and someone else did.
The question was, "how do I print this out, without all the comments".
Easy.
Highlight what you want to print.
Go up to the File
Select Print
Then click on the Print Selection.
It will ONLY print what you wanted.
You can also open up Activerain in two windows and toggle back and forth, step by step. That is how I learned to import video's into the post.
Now one less question for Brad and the gang to answer.

Thanks for the tips
THANKS! I have had some trouble with this!
Missy, What do you think this is going to do for google juice? When one post is going to 3 different spots? I got another domain name just to get more exposure
Hi
Thanks for the Tip and the link to the outside blog
I have read and heard so much about NOT posting the same post on different blogs, and that search engines do not like it etc. . .
Do you have any thought son that?
Hey Missy how come you get to answer all the easy questions :)
Missy: I have done this on outside posts but never on AR. The problem I've had with outside posts is that the print is so small I can't see it without a magnifying glass. I'll try it here.
Thanks for this, Missy! I still wish we could print the post in shape to show our clients, with the nice format :) But your tip helps at least get it done for reference ;) !!
Missy - Thanks for the tip. I've accidently printed a post and all of the comments. It was several pages long.
I've done this before, but forgot how....thanks....I "kinda" forgot.
Missy--I can always count on you to give good information. I have been so busy I didn't know about the new blogs...Thanks for the link!
Hi Missy, I am very excited about all this. I set up my new site last night but I can't get the pictures uploaded as yet but isn't it a great idea. Loving it!
I am sure that tip is helpful for most. I find most people are not familiar with that command. Spending a lot of time on the internet I use it a lot. I also print to PDF using that command so I can send it to others.
Hi Missy. Thanks again for your help. You are my KW Sponsor!
Ken
Ken, you are so sweet. WOW, Two KW sponsors from activerain! Thanks now go sell, sell, sell.
Russ, nothing google will still love us.
Randy, I use that command all the time too. A paper saver.
Bill, because it was so easy, I knew the answer to it.
Elizabeth, LOL. We all do it once to learn.
Missy, I used the latest version of SnagIt to to the copying. With a couple of clicks, SnagIt will capture the entire post, including the comments, and will convert it to an Adobe .PDF file (or any of about a dozen other formats, including JPEG).
Missy, great tip. Also, thanks for the link to brad's post on the new blog site.
That answers one of my questions as well. Thanks Missy!
I don't think I've ever printed an ActiveRain post, but good to know there's a printer-friendly way to do it. Also like the idea from Madeline using SnagIt. Thanks for the tip, Missy!
Good information for the technically challenged, Missy. Goodness, how do you have time for a blog post in the middle of the M2T contest.
Thanks Missy - but you are are too late! I decided to print it a little while ago, hit print, went outside to water my plants - it was still printing - the post and all of the comments. I already had 30 color pages before I canceled the print. Never thought it would print the comments, too, the print page said pg 1 of 1.
( I really must quit confessing to all of these DS things I do! )
Thanks for letting me know!!!
Missy - you're the best! Thanks for helping me us out, the cut and paste method really does work best for those long and commenty posts on AR. :-)
Missy, how do you have the time to be so good at everything! Thanks for this update. I hope you are doing well!
Hello Missy, it was very nice of you to pitch in and help Brad out. He must be on pure coffee at this point. What a post!
Missy,
So what's your downside?:)
Missy, I was out all day today and haven't even gone there yet. I appreciate the information and can't wait to look into it better!
Thanks for yout tasking the time to provide us with this information in the Active Rain network. AR is the new "cyber backbone" of the industry, and with it's uplink to Localism.com it will transfrom the marketplace. Agents who don't see which way the cyberwind is blowing are going to find themselves at a considerable disadvantage inside of three to five years.
Such an easy step, so simple it is easily forgotten, thanks for the reminder and paper/ink saver :-D
Missy.... huh? Maybe I am tired..... I know it's the end of the month. But do you mean, to print a blog like this? Maybe I should go read the comments later.
Missy, you are sooooo smart. I usually switch back and forth as well. ;-) Makes it easier to implement. Pretty soon you will be on the list of trainers here on AR. ;-)
YOU are always on top of things....... thanks for sharing.

Yep, tried to print, got a blank page...gave up and just went in and tried to follow the instructions...Still cannot get a picture to upload in my header...I click on it and it doesn't go anywhere...
Any help with this?
Missy... this is a great opportunity ! Thanks for the print information
Sounds easy thanks for the help.
Great info, Missy--do you by any chance know how to print a window from print screen? I've been trying to remember how to do that--used to know...
Thank you for that extra tip. I was unaware of that and it really helps with comments generally!
Whoops - not sure this works with Mac - Do any mac people know the answer???
Missy,
Great information for people who does not have any clue about these kind of great features of AR. Nice to check your great blogs.
Ray SAenz
Eric, snagit works great too, and I started to mention it, but wanted to make it quick as people were trying to set up their new blogs.
Realworld Properties, are you using FF or IE? You should be able to print that way in FF, I never have much success in IE. But, I remember reading a post on it here. Go to the search bar and type in using print screen, I think the post will come up.
Jeff, yes when you want to learn something, you can highlight the part you need to print. You obviously don't want to print all the comments.
Neal, LOL lot of downsides.
I answered the easy one ! Brad has been so helpful to me, that I thought I could jump in and take one less question off their plates.

Missy - I agree with everyone, where do you find the time? From the comments it seems this was a issue for many. I can't wait to find the time to work on the new blog.
Missy, thank you so much for the printing tip. there are soo many great posts to help non techies like me and now I can finally print them and then go to work from there. You have been a life saver!
Thanks for sharing the info on BLOGING. Bloging is really new to me. I hope to have a blog going soon, I really think it is an asset.
Thanks!
Thanks Missy. I have often wondered how to do that. Its so simple; I feel silly not to have figured it out.
