A Halloween Party will be held at the Ann Arbor District Library . Songs, trick or treats at 9:30 to 10:00 AM and a second party at 10:30 to 11:00.
The Treat Parade, begins on Main Street at 11:00 and lasts for 6 hours. This annual event is a highlight for the children as they dress and walk down Main Street visiting all the merchants where there is balloons in front of the businesses. Over 50 merchants participate in the Treat Parade, and plan their routes down Ashley, Liberty, Washington, 4th Street and Washington.
A list of the following merchants participating in the Treat Parade can be found here.
Bean Stalks Play Café in Saline is also sponsoring a Downtown Boo Bash with the Downtown Merchants from 5-8 P.M. An old-fashion down-town Halloween street party.
Burns Park Costume Parade will begin at 2:15 on Friday. This is held and sponsored by the Burns Park PTO and the children dress in costumes, and walk around Burns Park and the block surrounding the school.
Night Terrors at Wiards Orchard is one of my families favorites. Surrouded by an apple orchard it turns into one of the scariest places to visit at Halloween. Night of Terrors in open all Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in October. A list of all the attractions at Wiards Orchard can be found here.

Missy, wow, you are certainly connected with all the upcoming Halloween fun events around Ann Arbor. Hopefully you'll be able to pop into one or more yourself and enjoy this seasonal time of year. I would love to see that Treat Parade.
I love Halloween! Just yesterday I was tempted to buy a bunch of decorations, but I decided I have plenty already. We have a lot of events around Birmingham too. Have fun!
Very cool easy holiday information. How convenient for the local public. Have a spooky holiday.
Missy, I need to get busy and do one for our area on Halloween events. I'm late....always running late. Nice post! I'm going to go digging in the garage and look for my Halloween stuff....hope the Hubby didn't throw it away.....he likes to clean out my stuff! Looks like fun there on Halloween!
Missy
The great thing about Halloween is that my son gets all these peanut butter cups and I have the chance to eat them. Not the best for blood sugar, but some things can't rival Reeses penut Butter cups.
Ann Arbor is certainly geared for Halloween.
Regards
Tom Braatz
Halloween is so much fun for the kids (and adults!). I love seeing all the cute trick-or-treaters now that my kids are too old for it. You've put together a great list for area residents.
Missy, I love that the merchants are participating....I always love when they have SAFE halloween events instead of the children roaming the streets.
I just love Halloween and hope to be in Chicago with my Grand son that night Sounds like your area goes all out have great spooky fun.
So Missy, what are your plans for all the chocolate you're going to get?
Thanks Missy - I'm keeping a list of Ann Arbor area Halloween events and trick or treat hours too. Ann Arbor announced official hours, but I haven't seen anything on the Dexter or Chelsea city web sites yet.
